The Shaman(ess) Bracelet
Imagine a huge ceremonial fire circle, snapping and popping, smoke circling high into the night sky, releasing the special aromas of sage and other dried leaves and twigs, many moons ago (or is that present day?), with the village Medicine Woman or Shaman circling it, chanting, enthralled tribal members watching on. The Shamans, both men and women, always wore circles of healing and protective stones around their wrists, ankles, and necks during this ritualistic moment, as well as each and every day.
This bracelet came to me in a moment of meditation, saying, "Make me!"
Turquoise is a master healer in the world of gemstones. Red Jasper, one of the major protection stones of choice for the Native Americans, when paired with Carnelian, an incredibly ancient stone of protection and 2nd Chakra activator, supports and strengthens the Turquoise. Amethyst has always been associated with royalty, in this case symbolizing the Shaman or Medicine Woman. Bloodstone is used in this bracelet to bring a balance within by clearing any blockages that might resist the spiritual power and healing of the rest of the stones.
Wear the Shaman(ess) Bracelet on your left side if you want to draw in the nurturing and healing energy for yourself. Wear it on the right when you either feel the need for protection or, as I like to think of it, boundary setting, or when you want to send out healing energy. My preference would be for all those doing any kind of healing work to wear this bracelet every day or at least during all healing-type sessions. The Path of Life charm supports all of the above in a very symbolic, yet tangible way.
Be well.
